Meet the Staff
Our staff includes licensed psychologists and pre-licensed clinicians. Our full-time training program includes doctoral-level health psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows.
Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) seeks to assist students in developing greater self-understanding and help resolve problems that interfere with their optimal personal functioning. It is normal to experience adjustment problems, especially during periods of transition.
CAPS provides brief individual, couple, and group counseling; single-session counseling; and workshops, including anxiety management and other topics, to students, as well as consultation and outreach services to support students' wellness and success.
Mon–Thurs. 8:30 a.m.–7 p.m.; Fri. 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Evenings by appointment only.
Warmline for all USF students: 24 hours daily, including weekends & holidays.
For emergencies, call (415) 422-2911 or extension 2911 from any on-campus phone. Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
