Campaign for Black Achievement Success and Engagement

Our commitment to diversity and excellence requires us to develop the Black Achievement Success and Engagement (BASE) program. Building on the Jesuit value of cura personalis (or care for the whole person), it provides students who identify as black, African American, or mixed race with a critical sense of belonging as well as new opportunities for engagement.

With your support we will:

  •  Expand resources for students by creating and sustaining the Black Student Resource Center
  • Promote additional opportunities for engagement, community, and service learning through the Black Living-Learning Community
  • Support high-achieving black students with scholarships through the Black Scholars Program, a rigorous and competitive academic program grounded in Jesuit values

USF is committed to an inclusive and equitable campus environment. The Black Achievement Success and Engagement program strengthens our support of black students, develops and supports scholars, and enhances the overall experience at USF.”
