Registration and Tuition

Registration and payment for both Arabic and Hebrew are completed online.

For current USF students who intend to take either Arabic or Hebrew for academic credit, please contact the Assistant Director of the Swig Program in Jewish Studies and Social Justice, Oren Kroll-Zeldin - omkrollzeldin@usfca.edu.

Tuition

Tuition for payment made before 5 p.m. on:

  • $1,500 - April 1
  • $1,600 - May 1
  • $1,700 - June 1
  • $1,800 - July 1

$2,000 - for payment made after 5 p.m. on July 1.

Costs do not apply to current USF students.

Scholarships

Cancellation Policy

Students who cancel their registration before June 1 will receive a 50% refund of tuition paid; those who cancel before July 1 will receive a 25% refund of tuition paid. Cancellations made July 1 or thereafter are non-refundable.

Other Costs

Tuition fees include student textbooks and does not include parking passes, notebooks, or writing implements (i.e., pens/pencils).

Parking Pass

Students can purchase a parking pass from the USF Department of Public Safety for the full three weeks. When making your purchase select "Hebrew San Francisco: Ulpan Permit" or “Arabic San Francisco Permit,” depending on your program. You will need to provide your license plate info. and vehicle year, make, model, and color.

Cost: $65

Deadline: Friday, July 6 before 5 p.m.

Parking pass purchase available June 1.

Permits will be distributed by the Hebrew San Francisco: Ulpan and Arabic San Francisco staff the first Monday morning of class in Kalmanovitz Hall.

Permits purchased after the deadline will take a minimum of two days to process.
