I interned for campaign-related organizations, volunteered at the San Francisco tenants union, worked in the California State Assembly as a McCarthy Fellow, and interned for an opposition research firm for state and federal races. Those opportunities led me to intern for a Congressional committee that turned into full-time employment at the House Foreign Affairs Committee."
