Professional Communication Certificates

In addition to the master's program, we offer the Professional Communication Certificate Programs (PCCP). Each certificate program is a three-course sequence (nine units) that provides the opportunity to develop an understanding of strategic, technical, or professional communication. Students take evening classes and join a community of writers and speakers taught by accomplished professors and mentors who provide experiences, instruction, and substantive feedback. Students choose from one of three certificates: strategic, technical, or professional communication.

Certificate students enroll in courses in the master’s program. Each certificate includes one required course and two electives selected from two categories: strategic communication and technical communication. The general Certificate in Professional Communication is comprised of one required course and one elective from each concentration.

Certificate courses can transfer to USF's Master in Professional Communication program.

How to Apply

For application to the certificate programs, some university-level coursework is expected but not required.
