Two weeks into lockdown orders, alumna Nadia Mashar ’06 had a brilliant idea to support the restaurant industry by creating a digital cookbook featuring recipes from restaurants all throughout the United States.
As the world continues to manage the ongoing challenges of COVID-19, USF alumni are stepping up to be of service to their communities.
As the hospitality industry faces major setbacks due to the pandemic, USF alumni-owned restaurants have had to make difficult decisions to stay afloat. Though the future is uncertain, they are giving back, supporting their staff, their communities, and reimagining their business models.
