Conor Smith is from Boston and graduated from Boston College with a degree in philosophy and English literature. As an undergraduate, he participated in USF's Casa Bayanihan program in the Philippines. After graduation he returned to the Philippines to work as a Community Coordinator for Casa Bayanihan. As someone deeply influence by Jesuit education, he is thrilled to be part of the USF University Ministry staff as a Resident Minister. He enjoys discussions about faith and social justice issues, as well as music, literature, film, travel, and anything to do with the outdoors.
Andrea Powell recently graduated from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. She is also a USF alum, having received her degree in international studies in 2012. While at USF Andrea was a member of the Erasmus living-learning community, participated in an Arrupe Immersion trip to Colombia, and served as president of the Not for Sale Club. She currently works at San Francisco Magazine.
Quintin Gabler is a second year Resident Minister. He is from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University with a degree in chemistry. He served as a Jesuit Volunteer in Oakland doing job training with young adults working to attain their high school diplomas. Currently Quintin is a graduate student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs Program at USF.
