The president annually invites the University community to a Town Hall meeting.

This year's Annual Town Hall Meeting was a retrospective Q&A with Stephen A. Privett, S.J. Fr. Privett looked back on his tenure as the 27th president of the University and shared his hopes for the future of USF as he passes the torch [Video].




At the Town Hall Meeting on April 16, 2013, the president commented about the "new normal" for universities. Provost Jennifer Turpin and Vice Provost for Student Life Peter Novak gave a presentation on Advancing USF’s Strategic Initiatives: Challenges and Responses. At the Town Hall Meeting on April 25, 2012, the president spoke about the current issues most significant to the University: the Higher Standard Ad Campaign, 101 Howard, Innovation at USF and other campus updates. A Q&A session with the president and the Leadership Team followed the presentation. [Video]


At the Town Hall meeting in April 28, 2010, Board Chair Claudio Chiuchiarelli spoke about the board’s expectations for the University community. He and the Leadership Team members answered questions afterward. [Video]


 In December 2009, two financial information sessions were held in the Presentation Theater, where President Privett spoke to the campus community about the University's response to the economic crisis.
