Move-In Day is Just the Beginning

Orientation week kicks off Aug. 18, with thousands of new students arriving to campus as part of Move-In Day at the University of San Francisco.

But moving is only the start of Move-In Day. Students will receive their student IDs, meet their roommates and resident advisers, and choose from workshops on topics ranging from how to become involved in clubs and student government to how to land that all-important internship to how best to navigate San Francisco.

Other orientation week events include a welcome Mass and new student convocation, a community barbecue, a live music and dance event, and the always-popular comedic hypnotist show featuring Chuck Milligan.

Skeptics, prepare to be impressed.
