Great minds

“It’s an honor to welcome the longest-serving U.S. Supreme Court justice and a leading legal lexicographer to the USF campus,” said School of Law Dean John Trasviña. "We look forward to our students, alumni, and the Bay Area legal community having this special opportunity to engage with some of the greatest legal minds of our era.”

21st-century ethics

Scalia and Garner will give the keynote “Legal Ethics in the 21st Century: Technology, Speech, and Money” at the 2014 Law Review Symposium Friday afternoon. They’ll discuss their book “Reading Law: The Interpretation of Legal Texts” and take questions and sign their book that evening.
