Boxing Club

The USF Boxing Club was formed in 1997 and dedicates itself to the development of boxing skills and physical conditioning.

Since its inception, the Boxing Club has produced many outstanding boxers.  USF was home to three USIBA National Champions in 2013 and 2014.  Hosting the 2013 USIBA National Championships at USF marked an important moment in collegiate boxing history.  USIBA was the first collegiate boxing organization to provide a National Championship opportunity for both men and women.  In March of 2014 Connor Morgan represented USA Boxing in Dublin, Ireland, defeating his opponent with a second round knockout.

USF boxing is considered a national powerhouse. The club has had multiple Golden Gloves champions as well as winning regional titles and national championships.  The club has a diverse membership including people from the region, the nation and international students.  The club boasts a 96% graduation rate (4 year enrollment) with many being complemented with honorable mentions and the dean's list.
