Umar Issa -- Managing Editor
He is considered a national treasure in countries he’s never visited. He is the life of parties that he has never attended. He lives vicariously through himself. He once won a fist fight, only using his beard. He is...Umar.

Nureen Ehab Khadr -- Copy Editor
Nureen wanted to be Cleopatra and POTUS when she was little. She still has hope those dreams might come true - one way or another. For now, she majors in International Studies (Peace and Conflict Studies) at the University of San Francisco.

Lauren Franconi -- Senior Editor
Lauren is a senior International Studies major at the University of San Francisco. She is majoring in global politics and societies with minors in European and legal studies. When she's not daydreaming she is pulling her hair out studying for the LSAT. But for now she is looking forward to graduation and traveling around Europe this summer.

Roseileen Razak -- Art + Design Editor
is graduating from USF in International Studies and European Studies. She hopes to work in clean technology when she graduates and/or eventually go back to grad school. When she's not busy working in the BAIS office and the Department of Commerce, she's at home being a domestic goddess, experimenting with cooking and baking.

Grant Bonham -- Senior Editor
Grant is a zesty nineteen year old Economics and International Studies double major. He spends most of his time forgetting what he did last week and most notably what he had for breakfast. In his spare time he loves reading about the varied perspectives that economic research provides and seeing how they impact the developing world.

Ray Krickel -- Marketing Editor
Ray is here to change the world. He is a senior Politics major at USF, with minors in Chinese Studies and Philippines Studies. He studied abroad in Beijing and Manila. Even though he is a Politics major he is not a fan of the T.V. show The West Wing and has never worked for a political campaign. He aspires one day to give a keynote address, a true measure of success. One pivotal lesson college taught him is to loathe sleep. The words of the fictional Vice President from the hit series House of Cards, Frank Underwood, serve as an inspiration to Ray, "I've always loathed the necessity of sleep. Like death, it puts even the most powerful men on their backs."

Yves-Langston Barthaud -- Digital Editor
Editor extraordinaire, founder of itsyourdistrict.org, and modern day Renaissance man Yves-Langston the unofficial mayor of San Francisco. Majoring in International Studies, focusing on Global Politics and Societies, and minoring in European studies, Yves-Langston has an incredible name. It’s a privilege for the University of San Francisco to have hosted such a talent, and it will truly miss him after he graduates this May. But as the saying goes, it’s better to have loved and lost, than to have never have loved at all.
