The Vice Provost Wardell-Ghirarduzzi currently offers Diversity Office Learning Sessions & Advising to faculty, staff and students throughout the campus community.
During these one and a half our learning sessions she reviews the University’s definition of diversity, the university inclusion statement, how diversity ties directly to our mission and traditions as a Jesuit institution, and the office’s role on campus. Because of the important stakeholder role that the University of San Francisco plays in many arenas throughout our community, the Office of Diversity Engagement and Community Outreach has been invited to participate and serve as an advisor on many committees and task groups. The Vice Provost Wardell-Ghriarduzzi, currently brings the voice and presence of the University and our office to many tables through her membership on the San Francisco Mayor’s Advisory Committee on Education, the Upward Bound Board of Directors, the USF President’s Advisory Committee, the USF Provost’s Council and USF Vice Provost’s Council. Additionally, Vice Provost Wardell-Ghirarduzzi also provides advisement and consultation for individuals, groups and departments addressing challenges and opportunities in the areas of diversity.
