The USF digital signage system is a campus-funded system maintained by ITS and Web Communications. Web Communications is charged with overseeing and managing appropriate content on the screens. We are always looking for new content to feature.
What is Digital Signage?
Digital signage is the display of multimedia content on electronically controlled displays that are installed in public places. Content and messages can be changed dynamically, without modification to the physical sign, typically with the goal of delivering targeted messages to specific locations at specific times.
In the pages on this site we detail how to contribute content to screens, whether you have a single event to promote or a whole series of related events over a semester. We also discuss how to request becoming a regular contributor to signs in your area and how our team can assist with templates, design or communication concepts. You will also find details on how to request installation of a new digital sign in your area and expectations for maintaining its content.
Have a look around and if you have any questions please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note: Web Communications reserves the right to make decisions about what is and isn't appropriate for posting and when a posting will appear in the announcement rotation. All events posted as an announcement should be open to the whole student community.
