Nate
Wheeler received his BA from Northwestern University in German and
Compartive Literature and is currently working toward his MFA in Acting
from the American Conservatory Theater. He has performed with such
companies as Actors Theatre of Louisville, Theatreworks and American
Musical Theater of San Jose where he played Tom Sawyer in "Big River."
He also received the Bay Area Theater Critics Circle Award for Outstanding
Male Actor in a Drama for his peformance of Jaime in the West Coast
Premiere of "Beautiful Thing." Favorite roles include Orin in "Mourning
Becomes Electra" and Rosalind/Ganymede in "As You Link It." Specific
areas of interest are the Meisner Technique, Voice/Breathwork and
Chamber Theater.
