Envisioned to accommodate all three fields of interest – painting, drawing and sculpture. The course will be fragmented into two distinct sections. Each section will consist of two weeks of studio study and production. Each part of the class will begin with research into the manner these practices are defined in 2003 along with the range of materials the students may choose to use in their work.

Design

Will also be fragmented into two portions. Design is the creation of objects whether they be objects we manipulate, things or objects that manipulate us, or spaces. Design is most concerned with the creation of objects that are beneficial to their users. These tend to fall into two categories, two-dimensional and three-dimensional design.
