Uldis Kruze, history, was interviewed Oct. 21 by the Chinese newspaper World Journal about Chinese president Jiang Zemin’s visit to the United States.


Eugene Muscat, School of Business, talked in October to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, KGO TV, the San Jose Mercury News, and the Sacramento Business Times about Christmas retail sales. He spoke to KGO TV Nov. 4 about the advantages of eating at a restaurant over eating at home. He was also featured in the San Francisco Business Times Nov. 8 about how business school programs are being shaped in reaction to corporate scandals.


Helen Mack’s lecture Nov. 11, organized by the theology department, was featured last month in La Opinión, El Heraldo Católico, The Center for Investigative Reporting, and Pacific News Service.


Michael Lehmann, economics, spoke Nov. 5 to CBS Marketwatch about the reduction of interest rates, the elections, and the Christmas shopping season.


Roberta Johnson, politics, spoke Nov. 6 to KPIX TV about the elections in California. She talked Nov. 8 to the Sacramento Bee and KPIX TV about the election of Nancy Pelosi as House minority leader.


Ken Miller, politics, was interviewed Nov. 6 by KPIX TV on the California elections. He also spoke Nov. 8 to KGO radio about the national elections.

Patrick Hatcher, Center for the Pacific Rim, spoke Nov. 12 to KPIX TV on the authenticity of Osama bin Laden’s latest taped message.


Robert Talbot, School of Law, was interviewed Nov. 13 by KNTV TV about the return of the last Symbionese Liberation Army member to the United States for trial.


Anthony Martínez, School of Business, talked Nov. 14 to the San Jose Mercury News about the Latino entrepreneur network.

Christin Anderson, Wellness/Fitness Coordinator—Human Resources, was featured in November in the article “Kids, Parents Learn the Fun of Eating Healthy,” in the Marin Independent Journal.


Stephen Cole, history, spoke Nov. 20 to London’s Sunday Business News about war toys.


David Batstone, theology, was interviewed Nov. 21 by the San Francisco Chronicle and by Costco Magazine Oct. 15 on business ethics.
