Stephen Zunes, politics, published an op-ed on the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in USA Today. He was also featured on National Public Radios All Things Considered, in O Globo, the largest circulation newspaper in Brazil, and in more than 75 other media outlets.
Roberta Johnson, politics, was interviewed by the San Jose Mercury News, The Sun Chronicle in Massachusetts, and the San Francisco Chronicle in September about President Bushs war against terrorism and the effect of the Sept. 11 attacks on civil liberties
Michael Lehmann, economics, discussed the effects of the attacks on the U.S. economy on KGO Radio, KGO TV, KRON-TV, Chinese television station KPST, and in the San Francisco Chronicle and the San Mateo County Times.

Luis Murillo, school of business and management, was interviewed live on the local Telemundo and Univision affiliates about the economic effects of the attacks and the reopening of the New York Stock Exchange.
Julio Moreno, history, was interviewed live on Telemundo. During the interview, he explained what a U.S. attack on Afghanistan would look like and answered viewers phone calls.
The Memorial Mass at St. Ignatius Church on Sept. 11 was featured on KPIX TV. Four USF students and professor Roberta Johnson were interviewed.
Andrew Heinze, swig judaic studies program, wrote about the United States as a melting pot in an op-ed published in the San Francisco Examiner on Sept. 23.
