Awardee PhilpottDozens of faculty and staff members honored for merit and service

Faculty and staff members across the campus were honored in recent weeks with annual, end of the year awards. The 25th annual USF Merit and Service Awards, the largest awards ceremony, was held May 1. Each year, the event recognizes university employees who are marking their anniversaries with the university, while others receive awards for exceptional service.

“Today we recognize the people who help to deliver services that support our students and keep the university running,” USF President Stephen A. Privett, S.J. said at the ceremony. (Fr. Privett is seen at left with Fr. William Dunne Award winner David Philpott.)
