Letters to the Editor
To the Editor:
Just a quick note to congratulate you on a very fine product in your latest issue (fall 2006). I think that the magazine has had its progress, but the latest issue is close to perfect in competition with other similar magazines.
Congratulations—keep it up!

To the Editor:
In reading “Looking Beneath the Surface of Immigration” by Jeffrey LaBelle, S.J., I take exception to his stand on illegal immigration. Nowhere in his article does he mention the corruption and holding down the poor by the wealthy.
Please explain to me why a country with great natural resources, wonderful climate for farming and resorts, entrepreneurs to invest in manufacturing plants, doesn’t provide a just living for its people? Why is the burden placed upon us? Our country, as great as it is, has its limitations. We must control our borders. We must uphold our laws.
