2005 Player the Year

Well the Player of the Year for 2005 was cancelled. Due to low turnout for the last several events of the season, keeping a running tally of scores seemed kind of silly.

As you can see Tom Henke had a commanding lead when things wound down.

Let's get out there in 2006 people!

Player of the Year is an ongoing tradition for the USF Golf Club. Club members reveive points throughout the year for meritorious play and for participation in events. At the end of the season tournament prizes are awarded based on cumulative point totals.

Points are awarded as follows:
9 Hole Events: 1 point for participation, 1 point for 2nd place (net), 2 points for 1st place (net)
18 Hole Events: 1 point for participation, 1 point for 3rd place (net), 2 points for 2nd place (net), 3 points for 1st place (net)
