The University of San Francisco Faculty Association is Local 4269 of the AFL-CIO. We are one of only a small number of unionized faculties at private universities in the United States. At USF we have over 300 members, from the colleges of Arts and Sciences, Education, Nursing, the School of Business and Management and from the Gleeson Library. We were founded in 1975 and have a strong and proud tradition of serving our members and playing a vital role in transforming USF into
one of the premier colleges in the state of California. On this
website, you will find information about all matters pertaining
to the faculty association, including archives and history, current events, organizational matters, minutes, the Collective Bargaining Agreement, union officers and links to other pertinent organizations. It is our hope that this website will be a valuable resource for our members and for any visitors who have an interest in our organization.
Sincerely,
Elliot Neaman
USFFA President
