The University of San Francisco is pleased to announce its decision to merge the School of Business and Management with the College of Professional Studies into a new school, the School of Business and Professional Studies (BPS). The rationale for this merger is to combine the notable strengths of each school; improve the programs offered to our students; and support curricular, scholarly, and professional development of our faculty and staff.

arrow USF Undergrad Wins Chinese Bridge Competition
USF finance major Mike Reznik, won the top-place prize in the 8th Chinese Bridge -- Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students. His speech, question-and-answer session and singing performance stunned the audience! Mike will represent the Northern California region to compete in the final rounds to be held in Changshai, China in July.

arrow The USF Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi achieved Superior Chapter status again, the highest recognition from the National organization. The students logged in 1,122 professional development hours and 821 hours of community service for a total of 1,943 hours.

On Monday, May 18th at 6:00 pm, Father Privett will be presenting the Gellert Family Business Center Award to William and Timothy McDonnell, USF alumni and owners of Tarantino's in San Francisco and three other family-owned restaurants.  The presentation will take place during the Mayor's Flavors of San Francisco event being held at San Francisco City Hall and kicking off Small Business Week.
