Christian Life Communities
Christian Life Community (CLC) is an
international organization of small faith communities based on the
Gospels and the spirituality of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of
the Jesuits. CLC's meet weekly and are grounded in:
Spirituality:The spirituality of St. Ignatius of Loyola emphasizes finding God's will in our lives through prayer and discernment.
Community:A group of people with whom to share this journey, our joys, and struggles in living the gospel values every day.
Service:We are called to be men and women for others sent out to minister to a world that is in need of healing.
Members
of CLC seek to integrate their faith with the realities of everyday
life. Each CLC small community consists of eight to ten people. A
faculty, staff person or Resident Minister who is knowledgeable about
the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius is a guide and resource for the
group
- Is Sunday Mass a good beginning, but do you long for more?
- Have you gone on a retreat and wish to follow up with that experience?
- Are you interested or involved in service work and looking for a place where you can reflect and share?
If
you are willing to make a commitment to a group of people and wish to
embark on a journey of faith, to share your experiences and
discoveries, CLC may be for you.

University
Ministry affirms the rich diversity of faiths represented at the
University of San Francisco and hopes to facilitate the sharing of
spiritual growth and development among all students in an interfaith
setting. These communities are grounded in a spiritual conversation and
exploration. Groups consist of eight to ten people and a faculty, staff
person or Resident Minister a guide for the group. This is an
opportunity to share life issues in an open and comfortable setting.
- Would you like to share your faith and what is going on in your life with other students?
- Are
you willing to make a commitment to a group of people to embark on a
journey of faith to share your experiences and discoveries?
