We’ve created a strong nursing and health professions community committed to a life of learning built on a foundation of innovative ideas that stay true to our core Jesuit values.
Our graduates are pragmatic problem solvers, trained to be transformational leaders, and prepared for the challenges of an evolving health care system.
Our fieldwork and clinical
training take place in the top medical centers of the Bay Area, a state-of-the
art Simulation Lab, and the richly diverse communities of San Francisco.

The baccalaureate degree in nursing, master’s degree in nursing and the Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of San Francisco School of Nursing and Health Professions are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.aacn.nche.edu/ccne-accreditation).
The BSN, MSN, DNP programs in the School of Nursing and Health Professions as well as the FNP & PMHNP Certificate Programs are engaged in a comprehensive accreditation review and will be hosting the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) for an onsite evaluation on September 17-19, 2014. CCNE policy requires that institutions provide an opportunity for communities of interest (e.g., students, alumni, faculty, employers, etc.) to submit written input into the deliberations of the evaluation team. We are excited about this opportunity to showcase the work of the school, its students and faculty, and the accomplishments of our graduates.
We invite written and signed third-party comments to be sent to CCNE by August 18, 2014 and addressed to:
