Pedro Arrupe Hall is an upper-class residential building for sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students. All students residing in Pedro are welcome to participate in GRC events, but an application process is used to select students for GRC membership with an intentional effort to balance the number of international and U.S. domestic members in the community. The building can accommodate approximately 97 residents. It is located a few blocks from main campus near the internationally-friendly Clement Street shopping zone. Alumni of the program shared the following comments about participating in this community:
“Seize the chance you have to experience new things and challenge your perspectives of what culture is, what it means, and how extensive exposure, or little exposure does and could affect yourself and the rest of the world.”
"Don't be afraid to explore, explore outward in the world that we share, but also inward to find out what makes you different and special."
GRC is jointly sponsored by the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) office within the Center for Global Education and the Student Housing and Residential Education office within the Division of Student Life. Additional academic programs support the community.
