Chase is a brazen, untamable Doberman with a passion for vintage two-buck-chuck, long luxurious naps curled up under coffee tables, and scrupulously clean laundry. Emily is a classic southern belle with a punk rock/Russian gypsy/foul-mouthed sailor/girl-next-door twist. Her hobbies include twiddling her thumbs and skydiving naked (can you feel it)?
THE GHOST HOST
The Ghost Host, who has been known to morph into different creatures —such as the Black Cat, the Ballroom Ghost, the Raven, the Spanish Professor, the Aging Man or the Egyptian Lady, to name a few—, lives in the Haunted House (La casa encantada). There he hears voices from the past speaking in tongues. He discovered a treasure of old records with moldy dusty grooves hidden in a crypt and covered by cobwebs, which is what you will hear at the House. Beware of bizarre spells in chants from all around the world, bewitching songs with such absurd names as rumbas, cumbias, mambos, guarachas, soukous, bulerías, bombas, guajiras, plenas, fox-trots, hot dances, hulas, tamures, ragas and many many more. Abandon all hope ye who enter here, and put on your dancing shoes!
HEIDI QUAN & LISHI LIN
DJs Heidi Quan and Lis Lin have a trilingual (English, Cantonese, and
Mandarin) music show with the latest Canto and Mandarin pop. Heidi loves
90’s music and the newest hits while Lis is into classics. If you’re
interested in Asian pop and rock, or you’re an International Student who
can’t get your hands on the latest Canton and Mandarin Songs, this is
the show for you!
DJ Ilse always
wanted to start a band named Terminally Chill, but settled on having a
radio show called that instead. Playing chillwave and other indie music
from rock to the occasional rap and hip-hop, DJ Ilse will enlighten your
eardrums and most definitely keep you in a state of terminal chill.
Jen plays the strangest blend of alternative rock, Brit pop, and
oldies. Also in the mix you’ll hear a handful of self-deprecating
anecdotes thrown in for flavor.
Jorden is all over the boards. From House to Trap to Hiphop to awkward song requests he plays it. Being a local of the Seattle, Washington area Jorden has always had a great interest in music and a great interest in playing it.
