hrDirect, March 2011

Dear Colleagues,

This month in hrDirect, Diane Sweeney reminds us of Healthy USF’s current eight week fitness challenge, “Exercise Your Way Around the Bay”. Diane also highlights Cancer Awareness Month and USF’s health care coverages for cancer screenings. And don’t forget, time is running out to submit 2010 flex spending account claims. On April 5th, which is right around the corner, Financial Aid and HR will be hosting a lunch time session on FACHEX/Tuition Exchange and Financial Aid.

We end March’s hrDirect with Diane Nelson reminding us that performance appraisal time is coming soon; but there is still time for supervisors to schedule a Performance Appraisal Training Workshop with Michele Centrella.

Thank You,

Martha Peugh-Wade
Assistant Vice President, Human Resources

Spring Challenge is Here

Starting March 28th, Healthy USF will launch an 8-week fitness challenge that will have you Exercise Your Way Around the Bay. Just for signing up, you will receive a pedometer so that you can track your steps throughout the day. In addition to steps, all physical activity (i.e. running, swimming, dancing, skiing or housecleaning) can be converted into mileage. Prizes will be awarded to those who meet the goal steps.

Join us as we exercise and learn more about nearby destinations. Register online at http://www.mywellcall.com and start counting steps beginning Monday! For more information, please click here!
