Meet with a Librarian for One-on-One Instruction

Librarians are available to meet with faculty, staff, and students one-on-one to assist with your research needs. These sessions can be general ("How can I get full-text articles from the library's databases?") or specific ("I need information on this particular topic.")

Tours of the Library

Tours of Gleeson Library | Geschke Center are given at the beginning of the semester, and on the first Monday of each month. These tours introduce you to the building and many of our services. Meet in front of the Circulation Desk at the entrance of the Library.

Tour Schedule

  • Monday March 3 @ 3 pm
  • Monday April 6 @ 3pm
  • Monday May 4 @ 3pm

To request a meeting with a Gleeson Librarian, fill out a Meet with a Librarian form, and we will attempt to get back to you within two business days to suggest a time to meet. To request a meeting at one of USF's regional libraries, contact the librarian at your regional site.

Instruction for Groups

Most of our library instruction sessions are course-related classes coordinated with faculty. If you think your class could benefit from a library instruction session, contact your professor and suggest a library session for your class.

We've taught sessions for graduate business students, and for students in specific residence halls. If you're interested in setting up a session like this outside of a class, contact Joe Garity, the Coordinator of Library Instruction for details.
