Thomas Massaro, S.J., is the new Dean of the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University. Father Massaro holds a doctorate in Christian social ethics from Emory University. He publishes a regular column in America magazine and has written seven books including two volumes offering an ethical evaluation of American social welfare policies.
