NURS 391 - Cultural and Linguistic Preparation for Health Care (2)

This elective course will prepare students working in health care to respond with sensitivity to the needs and preferences that culturally and linquistically diverse patients/consumers bring to the health encounter. Students will learn strategies to provide culturally and linguistically appropriare services (CLAS), so that access to care, to quality of care, and, ultimately, health outcomes may be improved.
