Focus on the concepts of health, wellness, and illness throughout the life span and the knowledge and skills needed for comprehensive assessment for patient-centered nursing care. The course incorporates concepts of nutrition, nursing, pharmacology, and biopsychosocial sciences. Students use scientific inquiry and problem-solving skills to plan interventions appropriate for health promotion,disease and illness prevention.
