Rodd Lee 1"The practical academic curriculum of the MoPA Program provides a comprehensive, real-world education in the field of Public Affairs. The engaging breadth of courses enhances my cognitive ability to critically analyze and thoughtfully respond to public affairs issues which I encounter daily as a professional within the field of Public Affairs. Additionally, the accessible professors and supportive staff of the MoPA Program makes my educational experience extraordinarily enriching at USF.”

-Rodd Lee, Manager of Government and Community Relations, San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART)

Jelena"The professors are accessible, engaging and at the top of their fields. San Francisco is such a hotbed of civic engagement that there are tremendous opportunities in and outside the university. My favorite feature of the program has been how practical the work is. I've had classes at City Hall, performed grant writing for a local community organization and met with speakers from various levels of government. Coursework itself is includes assignments that are actual work for a public affairs job. MoPA is like a real-world training program for public affairs professionals."

-Jelena Hasbrouck, Principal, Engagent Strategies

Edan 2"The MoPA Program is key to where I am right now in my career. Because of the program, I am able to really identify my interests and develop the skills I need for a successful career. The program's flexibility in terms of research interest and industry focus encourage MoPA students to become successful in the public service careers."

-Edan Enriquez, Project Manager, California Association of Non Profits

Jen"The MoPA Program gave me incredible opportunities to grow-both as a student and a professional. Classes took advantage of all the San Francisco has to offer and opened up many doors to Bay Area professionals. With these opportunities, I secured a job with a public affairs firm. "
