The University of San Francisco: College of Arts & Sciences

Internationalization Task Force

Pamela Balls Organista and Annick Wibbin, Chairs

The Internationalization Task Force is charged with making recommendations to the Dean for specific initiatives to promote and enhance comprehensive internationalization throughout the College. Specific tasks include

  • Developing a working definition of internationalization
  • Gathering data from relevant institutional offices and departments about existing efforts to provide all students with an international experience (locally & globally)
  • Documenting efforts to internationalize the curriculum in A&S and conduct international research.

In addition, we attempt to identify gaps and challenges in current programming/curriculum and develop ideas for addressing those gaps and linking internationalization to the other important College pillars (academic excellence, diversity, sustainability) and the USF mission.
