The Master of Arts in Catholic School Teaching (CST) is designed for students who wish to pursue their teaching careers in Catholic schools and to hone their skills in classroom teaching.
For candidates who complete all teaching credential program requirements at USF, the MA in Catholic School Teaching may be obtained by successfully completing the following five core courses (15 credits) offered in the Catholic Educational Leadership (CEL) program. The preliminary teaching credentials offered in conjunction with the Master of Arts in Teaching are:
Preliminary Multiple Subject Credential with an optional Bilingual Authorization in Spanish | 36-40 credits.
Preliminary Single Subject Credential with an optional Bilingual Authorization in Spanish | 34-38 credits.
