The General Education Curriculum (GEDU) provides students with the foundations needed to pursue graduate-level coursework.

All doctoral programs require that each student successfully complete 12 credits of coursework in General Education:
- Foundations course - 3 credits;
- Applied Educational Statistics course - 3 credits;
- Research Methods course - 3 credits;
- Advanced Research course - 3 credits
