Objectives or Outcomes:

1. Familiarity with the language and interpretation of regression-based analyses
2. Discuss and interpret research articles using regression analyses
3. Complete SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) worksheets during class providing hands-on experience using regression

Course Topics:

1. Introduction and Statistical Review I
2. Item analysis
3. Correlation and reliability
4. Simple regression
5. Multiple regression
6. Analysis of covariance
7. Path analysis, LISREL, and hierarchical linear models

Criteria for Evaluation:

May include one of the following: attendance or a paper.
