The Digital Technologies for Teaching and Learning program continues to host their annual half-day series of free workshops to the community.
This year's conference offered twelve informative workshops. Participants were able to choose among several for each of the three sessions.
In Social Learning Networks, participants pictured to the right are learning about ways they might use an ever-growing list of social media in their classrooms. Led by DML student, Paul Barnes, the session addressed privacy issues related to Facebook and Twitter, and also explored the pros and cons of Edmodo, Schoology and the fast-growing Google+.
