Jon Fisher

Jon B. Fisher served as Bharosa, Inc's CEO until its successful acquisition by Oracle Corporation in July, 2007. Jon became Oracle's Vice President Product Management assisting with the release of Oracle Adaptive Access Manager 10g as a result of the acquisition. Jon was named Ernst & Young's 2007 Entrepreneur Of The Year in Northern California and was recognized as a 2006 Forty Under Forty Executive To Watch by the San Jose Business Journal and a 2000 Face Of A New Generation by the Wall Street Journal. In the past 15 years, Jon has served as CEO of three software companies resulting in two successful exits. Jon was a freshman starter on the Vassar College basketball team but opted to discontinue his Division III career in favor of starting his first company in Silicon Valley. Jon completed his undergraduate degree from the University of San Francisco. Jon is a trustee of the Nueva School in Hillsborough and the Pacific Vascular Research Foundation in South San Francisco. Jon also serves on the boards of the Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks Society and Emphasis Search in San Francisco.


Jeb Miller

Jeb Miller has a decade of experience working with early stage companies and focuses his investments on innovative opportunities across the mobile and enterprise applications and infrastructure sectors. Jeb currently serves on the Boards for Ad Infuse, Innotas and Pano Logic and is an advisor to ONStor.
Jeb joined ComVentures from Worldview Technology Partners, where he invested in enterprise software and data center infrastructure companies. Prior to Worldview, Miller co-founded Morgan Stanley Technology Ventures, where he focused on investments in the data center infrastructure sector. Jeb's prior investments and Board seats include FineGround Networks (acquired by Cisco), IntruVert Networks (acquired by McAfee), LogLogic and Rhapsody Networks (acquired by Brocade Communications). Miller was previously Director of Business Development for Scient, an Internet consulting firm, where he launched and managed the firm's corporate venture arm. Prior to Scient, Miller was an investment banker with Morgan Stanley's global technology group in Menlo Park, Boston and New York. Miller graduated summa cum laude from Harvard with a B.A. in Economics.


Michael Dae

Developed an active career spanning greater than twenty-three years as a physician and clinical researcher for universities and more recently for private industry. International experience and recognition, designing and overseeing preclinical studies and clinical trials for cardiovascular and nuclear imaging products in a variety of settings. Overall career goals are to have relevant impact in medicine and society; opportunity for financial growth; and opportunity for new challenges.


Tom Fountain

Tom Fountain is a Principal at Mayfield Fund focused on infrastructure software, networking, storage, and security. Tom's investments include Akimbi (acquired by EMC/VMware) and Webroot. He is also involved Cemaphore, Mendocino Software, Mimosa Systems, and WiChorus. He previously served on the board of directors for Scalix (acquired by Xandros) and worked with Determina (acquired by EMC/VMware). Prior to joining Mayfield in 2003, Tom co-founded Ingrian Networks, a leader in network and database security. Tom was previously a faculty member at Stanford University in both the electrical engineering and computer science departments. Before joining the Stanford faculty, Tom was founder and CEO of a software development and retail sales firm with multi-state operations. He is co-inventor of ten U.S. and four international patent-pending technologies in networking, security, and operating systems. Tom was a PhD student in electrical engineering at Stanford University, where he earned an MBA with distinction as an Arjay Miller Scholar, an MS in Electrical Engineering, an MS in Computer Science, and a BS in Computer Systems Engineering.


Benjermin Colombo

Senior Relationship Manager
SVB Silicon Valley Bank

Benjermin Colombo is a senior relationship manager for SVB Silicon Valley Bank’s Life Science Practice based in San Francisco.  He is responsible for all sales initiatives, managing client relationships and overseeing the continued growth of the practice.

He began his career with SVB in 2004 as a relationship manager in the company’s Hardware and Communications Practice.  He has also managed the Software and Services Practice for the company’s South Bay region where he primarily worked with software, Internet and new media companies. 

Colombo has more than 12 year of commercial banking expertise and has first-hand experience as an entrepreneur.  He has held several senior banking positions where he specialized with working with a broad array of venture-backed technology companies, including vice president at both Imperial Bank and Comerica Bank.  He was also the director of Emerging Markets at Ernst & Young, LLP, and Vice President of mergers and acquisitions at a national boutique investment banking firm.  Just prior to joining SVB, Colombo co-founded a small niche graphic design firm.

In addition to his professional career, Colombo is involved with several nonprofit organizations. His recent service includes his position as the CFO of the San Bruno Chamber of Commerce. Colombo holds a bachelor’s degree in business and finance, a master’s degree in economics and minored in computer science and applied science and business all from the University of San Francisco.
