Faculty Commitment
We aim to maximize student learning that will enhance knowledge and skills needed to be a
successful leader, manager, and executive.
We recognize that students who enroll in the Executive MBA expect to be challenged in many different ways and to go far beyond rote learning.
We therefore intend to teach and communicate with rigor, depth, and passion. We will be
compassionate about difficulties but will be honest in comments and observations that we believe may help students become more successful.
We further intend to be critical of student work wherever that will support learning, just as we intend to value and recognize student learning and contributions.
We believe that Executive MBA students have the responsibility of supporting their fellow students and working effectively with them on teams. While some assignments will be done individually, an important part of the learning in the program will occur through interaction and cooperation with classmates.
