U.S.
Business, Accounting,
and
Legal Seminar
August 5 - 23,
2002
University
of San Francisco - Lone Mountain
Campus
Program
Description
Developed exclusively for OCSC, Inc.,
the U.S. Business, Accounting and Legal Seminar, is an intensive
three-week course for professionals who want to develop their knowledge
of U.S. business practices, legal issues, corporate accounting and
finance.
The U.S. Business, Accounting and Legal
Seminar is a unique blend of theory and practice, introducing a
framework where U.S. business practices intersect accounting, finance
and legal topics.
The program will use a hybrid model of
technology and in-class lecture and class discussion, supported
by two local company visits. Specifically, students will prepare
prior to their visit to the U.S., at their own pace through the
use of interactive CD-based instruction. Once they arrive in the
U.S., a series of lectures and interactive academic activities will
be presented and introduced during the three-week period. Integrated
into the course lectures are two visits to prominent Bay Area companies.
The purpose of these visits is to observe U.S. business in action,
learn and apply new learning and interact with business executives.
This program is designed for professionals
who are interested in becoming more influential leaders and enhancing
their global management skills. Come to USF to gain powerful insights
that have immediate application now and throughout your career.
