Derek K. Reeve, Lieutenant Colonel (LTC)

Professor of Military Science/MS 4 Instructor

A native of Puyallup, Washington, LTC Reeve graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate from the University of Washington with a degree in History. He was branch detailed Armor from the Military Intelligence branch but his request to remain Armor was approved. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Adult and Continuing Education from Kansas State University. He is married and has one son. He arrived at USF in August 2008.

A native of Caroga Lake, NY, MAJ Warner graduated from Bryant College, part of the Providence College ROTC program, with a degree in Business. He was assigned to the Quartermaster Corps in the Army Reserve. He is married and has two sons. He arrived at USF in January 2008.

Dennis M. Ansbro, Captain (CPT)

Assistant Professor of Military Science/MS 2 Instructor

CPT Dennis Ansbro:
Born and raised in Portland, OR; CPT Ansbro is an alumnus of USF.  He graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and branched into the Engineer Corps.  After completing Officer Basic Course, he was assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team of the 10th Mountain Division at Ft Drum, NY.  He deployed with the 3rd BCT to Afghanistan in February 2006 and served as his Battalion’s Liaison Officer to the Afghan Forces and their U.S. Mentors.  After almost 17 months in country he re-deployed to Fort Drum before leaving active duty and returning to the West Coast.  He now serves in the Army Reserves as an All Source Intelligence Officer for the 368th Military Intelligence Battalion out of Oakland Army Base.  In his spare time he is pursuing his MBA at USF, and enjoys running, hiking, swimming, cycling, and the occasional movie when he can fit it in. 

Military Education: Engineer Officer Basic Course.

Raised in Payson, Arizona, SFC Rasmussen enlisted in February 1995 and attended 19D Armored Reconnaissance Specialist One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Knox, KY.  He is married to Cindy Rasmussen and they have one son.  He joined the Don’s Battalion in March 2009.
