This book provides well documented historical accounts of the first Catholic cemetery in Beijing where the tombstones of such famous Jesuit missionaries as Matteo Ricci, Ferdinard Verbiest, Adam Schall von Bell are located. It is the first time this special historical and cultural site has been introduced in the Chinese language to Chinese readers.
