Princely Gifts and Papal Treasures: The Franciscan Mission to China and its Influence on the Art of the West 1250-1350

Lauren Arnold is a Research Associate with the Ricci Institute. Her new book, Princely Gifts and Papal Treasures documents the little-known but extensive contact between medieval Franciscan missionaries and the Mongol Yuan dynasty in China.
