Internship Housing Program

Recognizing the unique need of many companies, legal firms, and institutions to find affordable housing for summer interns, we provide housing accommodations for a select number of approved professional internships.

Our summer intern housing program is available from May 31, 2008 until August 2, 2008.

Rates

Loyola Village (Condominiums)

Single Occupancy: $68 per night
Double Occupancy: $50.50 per night/per person

  • Single Occupancy means that you will have your own room, but does not mean you will have an
    entire condominium to yourself. You could have your own room in a 2 or 3 bedroom condominium.
  • Double Occupancy means that you will share your room with another intern.
Discounted Rates

Single Occupancy: $52 per night
Double Occupancy: $39.50 per night/per person

These rates may apply to you if:

  1. You are an intern staying with us for 20 days or longer.
  2. If you are a company/firm looking to house more 4 or more interns for the summer.

Required Material

Please submit the following to our office:

  • The company interning for must contract out with the University of San Francisco
    • The company must contact Deidre Smith (contact information below).
  • Signed letter on letterhead from the company sponsoring the intern with the following
    information:
    • Intern's name
    • Name of Firm/Company/Department
    • Dates of the Internship
    • Verification of need for housing and the need to be in San Francisco
    • Guaranteeing payment for housing during the dates of the internship
  • Proof of Insurance
    • Commercial general liability insurance in a minimum amount of $1,000,000 (including alcoholic beverage liability if alcoholic beverages are to be served) to cover any one occurrence for loss from an accident resulting in bodily injury to or death and for damage to or destruction of property belonging to the USF as well as third parties.
  • Total payment should be received upon or before arrival
