Phelan Hall

Phelan Hall is the oldest, largest, and most centrally located hall.  It was named after James D. Phelan, class of 1881, who was a mayor of San Francisco and a Unites States Senator.  This co-ed hall houses primarily sophomores and provides a diversity of options.  Students may choose single sex floors or co-ed floors, as well as themed floors, Saint Ignatius Institute, Erasmus Project and Ester Madriz Scholars Living and Learning community.

Phelan Residents

A laundry room, kitchen, and study room are all located on the first floor, while TV lounges are located on every floor.

Residents in Phelan are just steps away from the University Center which houses the main campus dining room and recreational facilities.
