The Pharos System was implemented to enhance services to the University community by opening up all copying and printing functionalities on all existing public-use Ricoh self-service copiers/multi-function printers (MFP's) across Main Campus and Distributed Campuses. Students, faculty, staff and guests will be able to swipe their One Card or enter their USF username/password to copy and/or print in Black & White and Color at selected public-use locations.
On an operational level, the Pharos system will conserve resources by discouraging waste and continuing to provide quality devices and supplies for all integrated Ricoh/Pharos MFP's.
SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Starting Tuesday, 7/24/2012 through 8/10/2012 select public-use MFP's will begin to upgrade to become a Pharos-enabled device. When Pharos is successfully configured and tested on a given device, green signage will be posted. Please be patient during this time. This is a pilot project and we would love to hear your feedback by emailing pharos@usfca.edu
