Cleary Report; Letter from the Director

In compliance with the 1990 Crime Awareness and Security Act, California State regulations, and the 1998 Jeanne Clery Act, I am pleased to present the Department of Public Safety’s Annual Security Report covering the years 2004, 2005, and 2006. Please note the burglary statistics on main campus. A burglary as defined in the penal code is an entry into a structure or locked vehicle with the intent to commit any felony or any theft. We have experienced an increase in the burglary category over the past 2 years on main campus.

In order to provide critical campus-wide information about all aspects of campus safety by means of periodic crime bulletins and emergency preparedness updates, the following informational format was developed.

In order to provide critical campus-wide information about all aspects of campus safety by means of periodic crime bulletins and emergency preparedness updates, the following informational format was developed in the fall of 2006 with the intent it will be produced and distributed at least twice every academic year. This is the second installment of the’06 – ’07 fiscal year.
