University Disaster Preparedness Information

Mission of USF Disaster Preparedness

The USF Department of Public Safety emergency preparedness mission is to work collabortively with students, faculty, staff, surrounding community and local, state and federal agencies to insure all members of the USF community have a personal preparedness plan, and have adequate emergency preparedness training opportunities in order to respond collectively as a community, quickly and effectively to any disaster.

In light of the events at Virgina Tech, please refer to the USF EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN FOR ACTIVE SHOOTER.

In the event of an any emergency the University of San Francisco has Updated 2007 Emergency Procedures that are available to the USF Community for review. USF EMERGENCY PROCEDURES.

In the event of a catastophic event the University of San Francisco will activate an emergency operations center. Plans for the operation center are now available to the USF community for review. USF EMERGENCY OPERATION CENTER PLAN.

The updated and approved USF Pandemic Flu Prevention and Response Plan is now available to the USF community. USF PANDEMIC FLU PREVENTION AND RESPONSE PLAN.
