      There are many peer organizations that offer valuable information (Educational Research, Financial Aid, College Access, Scholarships). You are invited to use these resources in your endeavors as a student, parent or educator.


Peer Organizations

KnowHow2Go
Big dreams and good grades aren't enough to get into college. KnowHow2GO is a national public service campaign designed to inform young people about the actual steps they need to take to make their college dreams a reality. The campaign includes television, radio, print, outdoor and interactive advertising. It is sponsored nationally by the American Council on Education, Lumina Foundation for Education and the Ad Council. For more information visit KnowHow2GO.org.

Kids2College
Early college awareness program targeting 6th graders and focuses on providing students with knowledge, information, and motivation to pursue college.

Advance
Advance! is a college counseling center that assists families through college admissions and financial aid processes. Advance! offers its services free of charge and its staff is bi-lingual.

The Hispanic Associations of Colleges and Universities
HACU is the only national educational association that represents Hispanic Serving Institutions.

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund
HSF provides outreach programs that help students and their families to navigate the college application and financial aid processes.

ACCION
ACCION is a non-profit organization that informs Latino students and parents of how to prepare for college, specifically in the Los Angles Area. (Site in bilingual)

The Campaign for College Opportunity
The Campaign for College Opportunity is working to ensure that California provides a place in college for every student who is eligible to seek it. Learn about this policy issue and discover what YOU can do to ensure access for the next generation of college-going student.

Puente Project
Academic preparation program sponsored by the University of California Office of the President that aims to increase the number of educationally disadvantaged students who enroll in four-year colleges and universities.

Salvadoran-American Leadership and Educational Fund
Advocates for the educational advancement, civic participation, leadership and economic prosperity of the Salvadoran and Latino communities in the U.S.

Center for Higher Education Policy Analysis
Provides analysis of significant issues to improve higher education and information to diverse audiences about postsecondary education.
